Jay Z dropped yet another bomb on the music business yesterday with his unveiling of the new streaming service Tidal. The announcement was fittingly flashy, with artists like BeyoncĂ©, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Kanye West, Chris Martin and Calvin Harris taking the stage alongside the rapper.

Just days after announcing his departure from the band so he could be a "normal" 22-year-old, a demo recording of Malik performing on his own has been posted online by a renowned producer.
Louis Tomlinson, one of his former bandmates, went crazy, crazy, crazy when he heard the song.
In a tweet to the producer behind the leak, Naughty Boy, he wrote: "Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you're so inconsiderate pal, seriously how f****** old are you? Grow up!"

Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao has admitted it would be an honour to play for Manchester United amid reported interest from the Red Devils. The left-back has been linked with the Old Trafford outfit for a number of years, with the 20-time English champions enquiring about his services in January 2014. And the 27-year-old, a close friend of Cristiano Ronaldo at Madrid, has revealed he has admired the club for some time and would be keen to join them should United look to sign him. "It's [Manchester United] one of the best clubs in the world, a club I admire greatly. It would be an honour to play there," he told O Jogo.

Cole on one stage to equally share the spotlight.

Buhari takes Kano, wins majority

The opposition leader Muhammadu Buhari earned a massive victory in the key northern state of Kano, beating his rival, President Goodluck Jonathan, by nearly 1.7 million votes, official presidential election results released Monday said.




Buhari’s victory in Kano in the polls held Saturday and Sunday had been expected, with the margin of victory seen as crucial to his chances nationally.
