Jonathan Reconciles With Obasanjo And Amaechi At Council Of State Meeting

 
It is no longer news that there has been no love lost between President Goodluck Jonathan, former president Olusegun Obasanjo and the Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi.

However, the last Council of State meeting hosted by President Jonathan yesterday, offered an opportunity for the three men to reconcile even if it was for the camera.

Before the commencement of the Council meeting, the governors across party divide were seen joking, back slapping one another and discussing in groups.

Abuja—The National Security Adviser (NSA) retired Col. Sambo Dasuki promised yesterday that Sambisa Forest, the fortress of Boko Haram terrorists and one of their last remaining camps will be stormed and liberated before the May 29, 2015 presidential hand-over date.

A Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Apo, Abuja, has okayed the release of former President Obasanjo’s book: My Watch, for release.

Justice Valentine Ashi ordered ‎on the release of the book, which had been in the custody of the Nigerian Customs Service following an injunction he slammed late last year following a complaint by a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Buruji Kashamu.
